Matty Espino

@supermatt1123

Originally from California, he moved to NY in 2013 to pursue his graduate studies at Columbia University. Initially skeptical about the practice, he began to discover the therapeutic benefits of consistently coming back onto his mat and, from then on, have began his journey towards healing.

He completed his initial 200-hour vinyasa training shortly after completing graduate studies. As a teacher, he offers carefully sequenced classes and private sessions that are challenging and playful, while still supportive of all levels and accommodating to all injuries. With compassion, a bright smile, and an intuitive and intelligent approach to the body, he strives for each of his students to feel comfortable, confident, and to feel no judgment to move like them.
